Jul 3, 2021 · Change the screenshot folder. Put it somewhere else completely different. Make a folder in the root of the drive, say c:/screen/ ... look at it, confirm that it's not read only. Now, put that adress into ff14, tell it that's the screen shot folder. The folder INSTANTLY becomes read only, and locked that way.

Apr 18, 2019 · In the Steam interface go to "View" then click on "Screenshots". On the "Show" drop down select FFXIV and then on the bottom click "Show on Disc" and it will pull it up in the File Explorer. If you're talking about the screenshots taken by the Steam overlay, it's in your user data forlder in the Steam directory.

Dec 29, 2020 · Screenshots have appeared to have broken with today's patch. Verified the screenshot folder config "D:\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\screenshots" and creating new files in the folders works, so doesn't appear to be a permissions issue. Screenshots were working fine on Dec. 19th with the same default folder.
