This 800-Hp 351W build started by making it into a bigger, 408 Stroker. We then added a big cam, high flow @trickflowspecialties 11R heads and matching single-plane intake. With the @holleyperformance 950 XP carb and long tubes (they were too small) -the 408 just topped the 600-hp mark. We then added a 150 (or so) shot from a Zex nitrous setup. Prove Me Wrong! Hey Richard, should I build a 383 Stroker out of my Turbo 4.8L/5.3L? The answer is actually no, you don’t need the expense of the extra displacement when you have boost. The difference between the 5.3L and 383 would be 1-2 psi, and the turbo would ultimately decide how much power the combo makes (regardless of the displacement).
