The Washington D.C. Latter-day Saint Temple is a sacred space for Church members and others. “It really has been miraculous how the Lord has preserved this piece of ground,” said Brent Pratt, a Latter-day Saint living in the area. “Through the Civil War, it was never clear cut like so many places in Washington.
